Words matter. They reveal what is happening in our hearts, shape our relationships, and provide opportunities to display the grace of God. In God’s Word and Our Words, we will explore how Scripture transforms the way we communicate—with God and with one another.
Through these sessions, we will consider the privilege and purpose of prayer, learning to approach God with humble dependence and a deeper trust in His wisdom, power, and love. We will also examine how our conversations with others can reflect Christ as we grow in prayerfulness, wisdom, kindness, discretion, and love. As we listen to God’s Word, we will discover how it changes not only what we say, but also how we listen, respond, encourage, and serve those around us. Join us for a practical and heart-focused study on using our words in ways that honor God and bless others. Over two days we will enjoy rich Biblical teaching, amazing breakout topics, excellent food and time for fellowship with like-minded women. Come, enjoy and be refreshed in the Word. Reserve your spot and invite a friend too! Save the date! October 2 - 3, 2026 |

Special Guest SpeakerJodi grew up in Portland, Oregon, in a home blessed with Christian parents and four older sisters. She heard the Gospel from an early age, and professed faith in Christ at the age of eight. In 1978, she married Bruce Ware, and then worked in various jobs to put him through school. He is a professor of theology at Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky.
Bruce and Jodi have two daughters. Jodi is involved in the music ministry and women’s ministry at their church, Clifton Baptist, in Louisville. She also works with the Seminary Wives Institute (registrar and teacher), and the Faculty Wives at Southern. She loves walking, reading, playing the piano, and meeting one-on-one with women, engaging in “conversational ministry.” |
