Our speaker, Janet Yates, has been married to her husband Smedly since May 2000. Together, they have five children: Evi, Zoe, Emet, Grace, and Madeline. Janet lives in Arizona, where Smedly serves as an elder at Grace Bible Church. Both Smedly and Janet graduated from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. ​Janet also earned a master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from The Master’s College.
