Richard W. Jett was born and raised in Roanoke, Va.   He came to know the Lord in April of 1952 at Grandin Court Baptist Church under Pastor Frank G. Voight.  After graduating from high school, he received a degree in accounting from National Business College.  Before working full-time here at TBC, Mr. Jett worked for the Kroger Company for 14 years and was an area manager for Gerber Products for 23 years.  Richard has served the Lord for many years at TBC, but he has been on full-time and part-time staff for the past 12 years, serving as Business Administrator and currently as Director of Pastoral Care.  In his years at TBC, he has also been very involved in the music ministry as a faithful choir member and leader of the men's quartet. 

Richard and his wife, Beth, have 5 children:  Steve Jett, Sandy Goodman, and Jeff, Jon, and Joe Blair.  The Lord has also blessed them with 11 grandchildren.
