Jo Ellen was born in Lynchburg, Va.   She grew up in nearby Forest and her family attended Timberlake Baptist Church throughout her childhood years.  After graduating from Brookville High School, Jo attended LU and completed courses in Accounting.

When she married her husband, David, they joined another local church for several years.  After a while, they visited TBC and decided to make this their church home. They have been members now for 29 years and have two daughters, Carrie and Karen.  Jo and David work in the Senior Saints ministry at Timberlake.

Jo has worked part-time for Timberlake for 26 years.  She began working in the office, helping with printing, publications, and the phones. She transitioned to the Bookroom manager for several years until she was asked to take over as the church's Bookkeeper.
