| Nathan Timothy Williams |
| College Ministries Pastor |
Nathan Williams was born and raised in Lynchburg, Va. by godly parents who were and are deeply involved in a local church. He grew up going to church on a regular basis, and this provided the opportunity for him to hear the gospel and be converted at a young age. Through the faithful shepherding of a godly youth pastor and the strong influence of some key books, Nathan began to set his life course toward pursuing a life devoted to pastoral ministry.
After high school, Nathan attended Bob Jones University and received his B.A. in Bible with a History minor. While in college, he met his wife Bethany and was married in the fall of 2004 after finishing school.
Recognizing the need for more theological training and more practical involvement in a healthy, biblical church, the Williams moved from South Carolina to Los Angeles in the summer of 2005 to begin grad school at The Master’s Seminary. During their 4 years in Los Angeles, the Williams were involved in high school ministry at Grace Community Church where Nathan served on staff as a pastoral intern in high school ministry and The Shepherds Fellowship. This provided a wonderful time of deep fellowship and strengthened their understanding of ministry and life in the local church.
God saw fit to bring the Williams back to Timberlake after finishing seminary. Nathan now serves as the college ministries pastor here at TBC, and his heart is to see students connected to a solid local church, and specifically to see them growing in their understanding of the gospel’s relationship to daily life.
The Williams have two children, Katelynn, born in 2007, and Cole, born in 2009.
